Plans to introduce electric cars into the World Rallycross Championship (World RX) have been hit with further delays, with 2022 now set to be the earliest the project will be implemented, while the World Motorsport Games has become the latest event postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The International Automobile Federation (FIA), the sanctioning body of the series, has decided to postpone the electrification implementation plan for 2021 by one year, due to the economic challenges presented by Covid-19.
