Korean e-commerce group Coupang’s proposed Tokyo 2020 Olympics streaming rights sublicensing deal has fallen through.
Early last week, Coupang looked set to carry coverage of the Games on its video streaming service Coupang Play. But within only a few days, Coupang withdrew from talks with terrestrial broadcasters SBS, KBS and MBC, who hold gatekeeper rights for the Games in Korea.
