Coudron and Ikram to contest FIH presidency

Asian Hockey Federation (AHF) chief executive Mohammad Tayyab Ikram and former Belgium international Marc Coudron are to contest the election for the presidency of the International Hockey Federation (FIH) after receiving the requisite number of nominations before last week’s deadline, the federation has announced.

The election will be held at the federation’s virtual congress from November 4 to 5. The winner will serve a two-year term to complete the mandate of former FIH president Narinder Batra.
