Sebastian Coe, president of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), has maintained that Doha will host the 2019 World Athletics Championships after comments from Ed Warner, chairman of the London 2017 Championships, that the decision to stage the next edition of the event in Qatar was a “really strange choice”.
