Spain’s competition watchdog, the Comisión Nacional de los Mercados y la Competencia (CNMC), has said that some Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) proposals for the commercialisation of broadcast rights for certain competitions "do not fully comply" with legal requirements.

The rights under review, spanning 2021 to 2024, cover the international rights for the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup, and domestic rights for women's football, amateur football and futsal.
