Chris Paul-backed Scout raises $2.6m seed round

Investing platform Scout, which is backed by investor and National Basketball Association 12-time all-star Chris Paul, announced that it raised a $2.6m (€2.7m) seed round led by Chingona Ventures.

BDMI, OnDeck, OneTeam Partners, Reach Capital, Gaingels, Hustle Fund, Alive VC, and Broadhaven Ventures also participated in the seed round. Investors such as Paul were joined by National Football League Super Bowl champion Vernon Davis, early-stage investors Tim Fong and Jay Kapoor, and basketball players Jimmer Fredette and Kyle Hines.
