Champions Hockey League, the pan-European ice hockey competition, has released details of its new format with a reduced number of 24 teams that it says will create a “balanced, attractive and entertaining competition”.
The changes, which take effect from the 2023-24 season, were rubberstamped at today’s (Friday’s) CHL general assembly meeting in Zug, Switzerland.
