Chinese, Japanese and Korean sports ministers declare intent to increase cooperation on sports projects

The sports ministers of China, Japan and Korea have adopted a joint statement on increasing cooperation between the three countries on sports projects.

Speaking after a biennial meeting between the ministers, the Chinese and Japanese officials said they would provide support for Korea's hosting of the Winter Youth Olympics in 2024, in Gangwon-do Province. The officials also pledged joint support for this year's Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, and the 2025 Tokyo Summer Deaflympics.
