Cheaper concessions being tested to drive fan interest

Declining attendance for NFL games and other sporting events in the last several years has led to a rethink about concession prices. Last year, Atlanta United and the Atlanta Falcons announced a unique pricing scheme for concessions intended to drive more business to concessioners at Mercedes-Benz Stadium by keeping prices low. The stadium which opened last summer was built with larger kitchens and more concourse room for cues. The success of Mercedes-Benz Stadium's concessions now has prompted others to follow suit in terms of pricing.
