Celtic and Rangers ‘to play in Sydney friendly tournament’

Glasgow football clubs Celtic and Rangers will take part in a friendly tournament in Australia towards the end of this year, according to media reports.

Sydney's 85,000-seater Stadium Australia is expected to host the tournament, which would feature four teams and take place during the Scottish Premiership's shutdown for the Fifa World Cup. UK newspaper The Sun reported that clubs from Australia's A-Leagues will also take part.
