Casino Brands signs with FFR, as IHG strikes EPCR deal

Food distribution group Casino Brands has signed as an Official Partner of the French Rugby Federation (FFR) in a three-year sponsorship until 2024.

The deal, brokered by the Infront agency, starts in September and will cover the 2023 Rugby World Cup, hosted in France.

The package includes rights to the collective image of players from both the 15s and sevens national teams, visibility on television and digital platforms, VIP hospitality services, as well as exclusive activations at Casino’s many points of sale.

Commenting on the deal, François Jeanne, managing director of Infront France, said the French men’s and women’s rugby teams have a high approval rating among the French public and that the FFR is “clearly a major strategic asset, with visibility and storytelling opportunities for Casino”.
