Campeonato Brasileiro Série A heavyweights form ‘Libra’ group

A group of eight Campeonato Brasileiro Série A and Série B clubs have endorsed the formation of ‘Libra’, a new body proposed to represent the 40 teams competing in the top two tiers of domestic football and organise the competitions.

Série A clubs Corinthians, Flamengo, Palmeiras, Red Bull Bragantino, Santos and São Paulo have signed up to Libra, along with Série B outfits Cruzeiro and Ponte Preta.
