CAF postpones Afcon to early 2024, finalises African Super League plans

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has delayed next year’s Africa Cup of Nations until January and February 2024 because of concerns about the rainy season in Ivory Coast.

The tournament had originally been switched from the early part of 2023 to June-July because of the World Cup taking place in Qatar in November and December later this year.
