Bundesliga extends digital partnership with Seven League

The Seven League agency has renewed its digital partnership with the Bundesliga, the top tier of club football in Germany.

Following a successful six-month relationship, the London-based firm said the partnership has been extended beyond the end of the current 2017-18 season.

Seven League has led digital partnerships for the Bundesliga International arm since September 2017 and will now continue to do so. Bundesliga International is responsible for the global growth of the league through the sale of media rights, sponsorship, licensing and digital services.

Seven League has supported the organisation in its partnerships with digital clients by creating value for official broadcasters and identifying new opportunities for growth in key territories.

Seven League chief executive Richard Ayers said: “Our partnership with Bundesliga International is a clear example of us helping the sports industry to grow its global reach and also increase the value of its traditional media partnerships. The Bundesliga is one of the world’s most prestigious sporting brands and we are thrilled to support them in this way.”

Seven League last month signed a similar partnership with French Ligue 1 club AS Monaco. The agency also currently works with Uefa, the governing body for football in Europe, as well as North America’s NBA basketball league, the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews (R&A) and the England Netball national governing body.
