Danish football club FC Midtjylland has added bank Arbejdernes Landsbank as its new shirt sponsor.
The Danish company signs an initial four-year agreement with the club, which will grant it the designation of main shirt sponsor and commence in the summer of 2o2o.
The deal is worth between DKK15m (€2.01m/$2.17m) and DKK20m, according to Ekstra Bladet.
Arbejdernes Landsbank is also the shirt sponsor of rival Danish Super League Brøndby.
This contract expires at the end of 2020, meaning that the brand could have a presence on the front of the shirts of both clubs simultaneously until the conclusion of its association with Brøndby.
It has an extensive presence across Danish football, it is one of the main sponsors of the Danish Football Union and also has contracts with domestic clubs FC Nordsjælland, AGF and Vejle.
Jacob Jørgensen, commercial director of FC Midtjylland, said: “This agreement provides optimism in a challenging time and on the slightly longer course also optimism in meeting our great sporting ambitions.”
