This year’s British Grand Prix will go ahead at full capacity next month after the race was added to the UK government’s Events Research Programme, while Formula 1 has also announced that Turkey will return to the calendar following the recent cancellation of the Singapore Grand Prix.

The British Grand Prix will be held without crowd restrictions at Silverstone from July 16-18. Silverstone has capacity for around 140,000 fans, which would represent the largest crowd at a UK sporting event since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.
