Brazilian football club Santos has extended its sleeve sponsorship contract with agribusiness company Kicaldo until the end of 2020.
The brand has been present on the club’s kit for the past three months covering the second half of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A season.
It will now bolster Santos’s shirt sponsorship portfolio for next season’s national Campeonato and the regional Campeonato Paulista Série A1 that precedes it.
In addition, the agreement incorporates visibility on the club’s training kit, across digital platforms, and at its stadium and training ground.
Electronics company Philco, gambling brand Betting House, Brazilian university UniCesumar, dental company OrthoPride and food manufacturer Kodilar are all also visible on the Brazilian Série A side’s kit.
As a result of these deals, Santos president, José Carlos Peres, indicated the club are “much closer to reaching the 2020 budget target in the sponsorship line”. However, the club continues to search for a brand to fill the main kit sponsor designation since the departure of banking group Caixa at the end of 2018.
