The French Tennis Federation (FFT) has announced that boxing will return to Stade Roland Garros for the first time in nearly half a century as it seeks to prove the venue’s multi-purpose claims.

Organised by the Allstar Boxing agency and pay-television broadcaster Canal Plus, Frenchman Tony Yoka will headline the card which will take place at Court Philippe-Chatrier on September 10.
