Birmingham 2022 breaks BBC streaming record, TV figure down on Glasgow 2014

The Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games broke the event’s streaming record for the BBC with over 57 million streams, although the total television viewing figures were down from the 2014 Games in Glasgow.

The 11-day event received 57.1 million streams, up considerably on the past two editions, according to figures released by the BBC. There were 9 million streams from the Gold Coast 2018 Games watched on the UK public broadcaster, while Glasgow 2014 attracted 8.2 million streams.
