Berman eager to ‘unlock the potential’ of NWSL, create safe environment for players

Jessica Berman says she is aiming to "unlock the potential" of the National Women's Soccer League as its incoming commissioner but she admitted that the task at hand will not be easy.

Berman, the current National Lacrosse League interim commissioner, will formally join the NWSL on April 20, succeeding ousted former commissioner Lisa Baird.
