The European Olympic Committees has added beach soccer and kickboxing to the programme of events for its 2023 European Games in Poland.
Beach soccer was contested at the first two editions of the Games, in Baku in 2015 and Minsk in 2019. Kickboxing, which has recently been proposed for full Olympic status, will be making its European Games debut in 2023 and brings the total number of sports to 20.
