BCW Sports study sheds light on bidding approach for major events

A positive bidding process experience is key to gaining long-term interest from cities keen on securing major sports events, according to the findings of a study conducted by BCW Sports, the sports practice of global communications agency BCW.

The study examines whether host cities prefer a bidding or dialogue approach to major event allocation, at a time when many sports organisations are moving away from the traditional bidding process to a more flexible dialogue process.
