BCCI extends deadline for IPL franchise tender

Parties interested in bidding for the two new franchise teams in the Indian Premier League have been given 10 more days, until October 20, to purchase the tender documents.

The process is being run by the Board of Control for Cricket in India. The tender was launched on August 1, with an initial closing date of October 5. It was initially extended to October 10.
