Barcelona to forgo chief executive, Laporta to assume executive president role

Spanish LaLiga club FC Barcelona is planning to forgo having a chief executive following Ferran Reverter’s resignation from the role this February.

Instead, club president Joan Laporta will assume the responsibilities of the position under the title of executive president, according to Spanish publication 2Playbook.
