Bankers Life Fieldhouse renovations will displace Indiana Fever

Renovations to Bankers Life Fieldhouse, the home arena of NBA side the Indiana Pacers, will add several new features to the venue, but will also temporarily displace the WNBA’s Indiana Fever.

The renovations will take place in two phases, bracketing the 2021 NBA All Star game, and are to be conducted during the NBA offseason. This will displace the Fever for all of the 2020 and 2021 WNBA seasons as well as part of the 2022 season.

Included in the new features are an outdoor plaza that will be converted into a skating rink in the winter. The renovations will also included an expanded entry pavilion and new observation decks in the arena where top row seating will be eliminated.

The renovations will not impact any Pacers home games.
