Band ‘wins rights’ to Carioca State Championship

Brazilian commercial broadcaster Band looks set to show a select number of matches from the Campeonato Carioca, the state’s annual tournament, from the 2023 season until 2025.

The Brax Sports Assets agency was put in charge of selling the rights earlier this year and has facilitated the deal now reported by Noticias da TV in Brazil. An agreement is yet to be signed.
