Baldwin to depart as EFL chief, £375m private equity proposal ‘rejected’

David Baldwin has announced his departure as chief executive of the English Football League (EFL) less than six months into the role, with the governing body of the three leagues below the Premier League maintaining his decision is unrelated to the emergence of ‘Project Big Picture’.
