David Baker has announced that he is retiring from his position as president and executive director of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, a role he has occupied since January 2014.

The 68-year-old will continue to represent the Hall of Fame at Ring of Excellence ceremonies to honor members of the 2020 and 2021 classes at NFL stadiums for the remainder of the presentation schedule. But Baker has stepped down from day-to-day business operations effective immediately.
