Bach notes ‘political reasons’ behind Rome 2024 decision

International Olympic Committee president Thomas Bach has pointed to the “political reasons” behind the withdrawal of Rome’s bid for the 2024 summer Olympic Games, adding that the development will not harm relations between the IOC and the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI).
