Australian billionaire Andrew Forrest ‘involved in Rugby Australia private equity talks’

Australia's richest man, Andrew Forrest, is involved in talks with investors including Silver Lake, CVC Capital Partners and Bruin Sports Capital about acquiring a stake in Rugby Australia's commercial business, according to The Sydney Morning Herald.

The newspaper reports that a deal for a minority stake in the business is expected to be completed within six to nine months. The report said Forrest was working with Bruin and CVC during the talks.
