A combined champion of Australia's men's and women's professional football leagues will be crowned from next season as part of an expansion of the women's club game by league organiser Australian Professional Leagues (APL).

The league points totals of teams in the men's A-League and women's W-League will be combined to create a new annual Club Championship title.
