ATP, WTA unveil mixed-gender United Cup

The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) and Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) have formally unveiled the United Cup, a new mixed-gender competition to replace the men's-only ATP Cup at the start of the tennis season.

First mooted last month, the United Cup will be held in Australia prior to the first grand slam of the season, the Australian Open, in partnership with Tennis Australia.
