ATP Tour returns to China with four events; Russian tournament relocated

The ATP Tour is to return to China for the first time since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Association of Tennis Professionals has announced.

The organisation has also announced the cancellation of this year’s Saint Petersburg Open in Russia amid growing concern about staging events in Russia given the country’s military activity in Ukraine.
