The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) and Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) are set to establish a mixed-gender competition to replace the ATP Cup at the start of the tennis season, according to reports.

The associations will reportedly replace the ATP Cup, the men’s team tournament introduced in 2020, with a competition called the United Cup. Like the ATP Cup, the United Cup will be held in Australia prior to the first grand slam of the season, the Australian Open. The first edition will reportedly be held in January next year.
