ATP approves Italian 250 tournament, WTA adds Poland event

The Association of Tennis Professionals and Women’s Tennis Association have both announced the addition of new European events to their calendars for 2021. 

The men’s ATP Tour has approved a single-year licence for the Sardegna Open, a week-long ATP 250 tournament to be held on the island’s capital of Cagliari beginning on April 5, the first week of the European clay court season.
