ATP and WTA sanction IMG’s Madrid Open acquisition on condition of Rio sale

The ATP and WTA men’s and women’s tennis tours have agreed to sanction IMG’s acquisition of the Mutua Madrid Open ATP 1000 tennis tournament on the condition that it divests its ownership of the Rio Open ATP 500 and WTA event.
