The Russian Athletics Federation (RusAF) is facing expulsion from the World Athletics movement ahead of the 2020 summer Olympic Games after the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) recommended this measure for what it claims has been a complete lack of “contrition” for its conduct amid the series of doping scandals connected to Russian athletics.
