French Ligue 1 club AS Saint-Étienne has extended with long-standing kit supplier Le Coq Sportif.
The deal follows the five-year contract signed between the pair in 2015.
It also builds on a historical association, with the brand holding the club’s kit supply rights during the 1970s, when the club enjoyed its run to the European Cup final in 1976.
Sports marketing agency Lagardère Sports is the exclusive marketing agency of the club. It has held the role since 2010.
This agreement was extended in February 2019 and will now run until 2030. At the time of the renewal, Laurent Moretti, general director at Lagardère Sports in France, said the agency has helped Saint-Étienne to increase its commercial revenues by 65 per cent since 2010.
The rest of the club’s shirt sponsorship portfolio is made up of front-of-shirt sponsor, Aesio Group, the insurance firm, and sleeve sponsor Markal, the organic food products manufacturer.
