Italian football club AS Roma has signed up energy specialists Edison Energia as its latest sponsor.
The brand takes the role of official energy supplier to all of the club’s offices and retail outlets in Italy.
In addition, AS Roma supporters will be granted access to offers on purchases of the company’s services, including a 12-month fixed guarantee.
The association will also have a significant sustainability focus, with the two organisations collaborating on initiatives aimed at promoting environmental sustainability.
These will include the implementation of renewable energy systems at the club’s training ground, as well as the installation of charging stations for electric vehicles.
Roma launched its ‘Easy Mobility’ campaign in January 2020. to improve the experience of its fans on championship days and reduce traffic congestion, promoting the adoption of sharing mobility and electric vehicles to reach and leave the stadium. Edison Energia now becomes part of this.
In December 2019, the club signed up electric scooter sharing service eCooltra as a technical sponsor, offering promotional codes to use the electric scooter sharing service on matchdays at the team’s Stadio Olimpico home.
