Arnold to succeed Iger as Disney chair

The Walt Disney Company’s board of directors has elected Susan Arnold, its longest-serving member, as its new chair, as Bob Iger severs his ties with the company at the end of the year.

Disney announced that Arnold, a 14-year member of the board who has served as its independent lead director since 2018, will succeed Iger as chair when he departs the company on December 31.
