Superliga Argentina football club Independiente has renewed its kit supply agreement with global sportswear company Puma.

The extension of the contract means it will run for a further three years, until December 2023.

The deal encompasses all the club’s professional and academy teams.

Alongside the visibility of the brand’s logo on the kit, the agreement will be activated through numerous marketing campaigns and brand positioning, both nationally and internationally.

The renewal builds on an association that has seen Puma act as kit supplier to the side since 2009.

The club’s sponsorship portfolio is comprised of insurance firm Escudo Seguros, pharmacy Audifarm Salud, Argentinian bank BancoCiudad and cable television network Flow.

For Puma, the news builds on its extensive presence as a kit supplier across world football. It currently fills the role at several clubs, including Italy’s AC Milan, Germany’s Bourussia Dortmund and England’s Manchester City. It recently signed a five-year contract with Dutch side PSV Eindhoven.
