ARD and ZDF, the German public-service broadcasting duo, and commercial broadcaster RTL are poised to finalise rights deals for Germany’s national team matches during the 2022-28 cycle.

SportBusiness understands that the CAA Eleven agency has finalised negotiations on behalf of Uefa for rights to around 60 matches. These comprise European qualification matches for the 2026 Fifa World Cup and Euro 2028, Uefa Nations League fixtures and friendly matches over a six-year period.
