Aragon rejects 2030 Olympics bid plan

Javier Lambán, President of the Government of Aragon, has rejected a technical plan issued by the Spanish Olympic Committee (COE) for the proposed co-hosting of the 2030 winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, stating that it favours Catalunya too heavily.

The COE yesterday (Monday) further advanced plans for a joint bid from Catalunya and Aragon for the 2030 Games by issuing a technical agreement for how the event would be staged.
