APL appoints former Foxtel and Nielsen executives to senior roles

Australian Professional Leagues, the new body governing Australia's club football leagues, has appointed Ant Hearne as chief commercial officer and Michael Tange as strategy and digital director.

Hearne was previously chief commercial officer at broadcaster Foxtel’s streaming division Streamotion, where he oversaw the Kayo, BINGE, WatchAFL and WatchNRL  products. His earlier career includes senior marketing and commercial roles in telecoms, digital media, marketing technology and sport in Australia, Asia and the US.
