AOC chief outlines timeline for Queensland Olympics bid

Australian Olympic Committee (AOC) president John Coates has said a Brisbane-anchored proposal has until the end of next year to decide whether to put forward a bid for the 2028 Olympics, while conceding that current regulations mean Melbourne and Sydney are unlikely to ever host the summer Games again.
