UK Athletics has confirmed that this year’s edition of the Anniversary Games, which forms part of World Athletics’ Diamond League calendar, will not be held at its usual destination of London Stadium, with Gateshead reportedly set to step in as a replacement.

UK Athletics has reached an agreement with the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC), which owns and operates London Stadium, to stage the event at a different location.
