Altenberg to bid for Luge World Championships

The German town of Altenberg has expressed an interest in hosting the International Luge Federation’s (FIL) World Championships in either 2024 or 2025.

The town has partnered with the regional federation of Saxony and the German Bobsleigh, Luge and Skeleton Federation (BSD) on the proposal. Altenberg is also applying to host the Junior World Championships in 2023.
