Ally and Disney to shine spotlight on women’s sport through ACC-focused deal

US financial services company Ally has agreed a multi-year marketing deal with the Walt Disney Company focusing on the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) college sports organisation that is designed to advance equality in women’s sports coverage.

As part of a multi-million dollar agreement, the collaboration with the ACC’s broadcast rights-holder features a media investment of more than 90 per cent in women’s sports, focused on expanding game highlights, branded content and features across the ESPN networks, including regular SportsCenter segments that highlight top women’s sports accomplishments.
