Formula 1 team Alfa Romeo Racing has signed up IT company Acer to its sponsorship portfolio.
The brand will supply workstations and monitors to be utilised at the team’s headquarters. In addition, activation will extend the two organisations collaborating to produce a range of content.
The agreement will be in place for the start of the 2020 F1 season, which had been due to begin in March but was delayed due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
The Austrian GP on July 5 is now set to be the first of the season.
Alfa Romeo Racing’s sponsorship portfolio is headlined by the title sponsorship agreement it holds with Polish petroleum company PKN Orlen. This deal was signed in January 2020, with SportBusiness reporting its worth to be between $5m (€4.5m) and $10m per year.
