African Super Cup to be played in Qatar

The 2018 African Super Cup will be played in Qatar, representing the first time the match will be staged outside its home continent.

The fixture pits Tunisian side Espérance, the African Champions League winners, against African Confederation Cup champions Raja Casablanca, of Morocco.

The date and time of the one-off fixture – traditionally played at the home ground of the previous season’s Champions League title winners – has yet to be announced.
